6/12/2023 0 Comments Forgotten souls diablo 3 farming![]() Torment 10: Marauder’s Set, 10 Rifts, ~53m total time. Torment 8: Natalya’s + Sage’s, 10 Rifts, ~45m total time. ![]() (Bliz, feel free to add that multi-spec option any time now.) Both characters were Demon Hunters, one wearing Marauder’s Set (which isn’t possible to equip with Sage’s) and the other wearing Natalya’s Set (which can be equipped with Sage’s, thanks to the Nat’s Bow and Ring, plus an RoRG bonus.) Each character also equipped a Boon of the Hoarder along with 2 offensive LGems, because 1) Empowered Grifts is pricey, and 2) Boon provides a nice movement speed boost. I ran 10 Nephalem Rifts with two different characters… since at this point in Diablo 3 it’s easier to make multiple characters of the same class rather than switching around the gear/skills every time I want to play a different build. Before running this test, I expected that faster farming on T8 would yield more DBS, though fewer Souls, than clearing TX without Sage’s set. Of course the best option is fast farming T10 with Sage’s Set + your normal gear, but if you don’t have that option (yet) with your character or gear, it’s interesting to compare the options. Thus the debate often engages what’s better for farming efficiency? Torment 10 in normal gear, or going faster on a lower Torment while wearing the Sage’s Set, which adds an extra DB to every DB drop? As a result, many players spend much of their non-Grift time farming these materials, along with Greater Rift keys, of course. It all happened so fast, but looking back it seems to be something fun that Blizzard would do to make it cool (pun intended).Sage’s Set bonus. The current version of Diablo 3 offers numerous crafting recipes that do a great job at consuming all the materials… especially Deaths Breaths and Forgotten Souls. Maybe Chiltara wasn’t hiding behind the portal stone. Is this a 100% method for the Gibbering Gemstone? ![]() If Chiltara doesn’t appear like with me, go all the way to the end of level 2, and click “The Fields of Slaughter” portal to see if Chiltara was hiding. Only take the “Clear the Caverns of Frost” Bounty in Act III.Ĭlear everything in the cave, taking every item. Get everything else done, putting all the items in your inventory for the attemtps. Blizzard wants you to have fun in Whimyshire. ![]() My hunch is that it is not a very low drop rate. I would be interested in other folks’ experience to see if I actually just got lucky or not. Maybe Chiltara only drops it at the end like that. So, maybe Chiltara is always there in the Caverns of Frost, just waiting to give everyone a Gibbering Gemstone. And then, surprise, Chiltara seemed to jump out of nowhere, and she dropped the Gibbering Gemstone. I got #1, and cleared both levels, no Chiltara! Ugh! Then, I clicked the “Fields of Slaughter” portal at the very end to leave a different way on a lark, without resetting by using “Leave Game”. There are 2 and only 2 Bounties you want to look for: This got me thinking that if you do it right, then it’s not 5% (or much worse). I noticed that a lot of people were quoting a 5% drop rate off Chiltara, with most people seeming to not even know how that number was calculated. Www.eurogamernet/articles/-diablo-3-ultimate-evil-guide?page=16 Liquid Rainbow was a one shot using someone else’s instructions. I like the following instructions as an outline, however I searched for a lot of other pages to make the other parts go better. I trained the blacksmith with the plans, and put all four of the other items in my inventory.Īlso, being lazy, I didn’t want to repeat going to the Frost Caverns over and over not to even find Chiltara. I wondered if there is some hidden enabler to getting it quicker, so I got all of the other items first including the plans from Izual. One person claimed 537 attempts and said they were about to go insane. I have read the horror stories of people trying to get the Gibbering Gemstone.
